DGT BREAKTHROUGH PROGRAMME

The Breakthrough Programme is a two-year business traineeship. Two high-potential candidates are offered the opportunity to experience all elements of the business, from warehousing to customer care, stock control to creative branding. They will spend anywhere from three weeks to three months in a particular area. This experience offers them an insight into how working life might unfold and presents the opportunity to hone current skills as well as bring out new skills they may never have known existed.

The programme is offered to two individuals who have proven strong performance and promising flair whilst embodying the company’s core values. Participants must have consistently impressed with their excellent work ethic, flexibility, capability and competence.

Breakthrough offers candidates the opportunity to develop a diverse array of skills and work styles as they gain a deeper understanding of the business and how it operates. This enriches their knowledge and strengthens their careers as they make an enhanced contribution to the business. Their time in the programme is also supplemented by a training and development plan. Upon successful completion of the programme, the candidates will take on new, challenging job roles within a designated area of the company.
